About Midway Cycle

 History

Midway Cycle Salvage officially opened for business in 1979 with a 2000 sq ft building and a handful of used Japanese bikes for parts.  Bill and Richard Berkebile (brothers) shared the same enthusiam for motorcycles since they were small boys and carried it into their new business.  In the beginning used parts were the main focus of the business but as time went by more emphasis on new parts and service came about.  In 2004 a new 10,000 sq ft showroom and service center was finished and the name was officially changed to Midway Cycle.  The business has grown steadily now employing 12 people and encompassing 30,000 sq ft of indoor space.

Recently Vespa Piaggio and Kymco Scooters have been added to give Midway Cycle quality vehicles to complement our parts accessories and service for all Japanese makes and models.  The fun and practicality of scooters plus the rising cost of fuel is causing many people to look at alternative modes of transportation.  Midway Cycle is here to bring you the best of the best in scooters with Vespa Piaggio and Kymco brands.

At the helm of Midway Cycle is Bill Berkebile, assisted by his wife Karen. The staff at Midway Cycle has an accumulated experience of 110 years at Midway Cycle!  We have the most qualified staff of professional motorcycle enthusiasts in our area.  When you visit Midway Cycle we are confident that your experience will be an enjoyable and satisfying one.
